Doggie Daycare . . . Play, Play, Play . . . Stay All Day!

After a long day at work, the last thing on your mind is exercising your pooch, at least to the extent required to sufficiently tire some breeds.

We've got your answer . . . Doggie Day Care at Kirkwood Bark & Lounge. We provide an excellent environment to socialize your pet and just let him/her be a DOG!

In order to be accepted into day care or boarding, dogs must pass a temperament test. Your dog will need to be dropped off no later then 11:00 A.M. and stay a minimum of 3 hours for temperament testing. ALL temperament tests are FREE. You MUST bring a copy of all current vet records and application for daycare. Please call Kirkwood Bark & Lounge to set an appointment for the temperament visit.

We have separate daycare areas for small and large dogs.
We also provide an outdoor play area for them to romp!
At owners request we will put your small dogs in with the big dogs.

Unforeseen events sometimes do arise. In that case call us by 6:45 P.M. (M-F) and 4:45 P.M. (Sat-Sun) we will wait for you. If you arrive before 7:30 P.M. (M-F) and 5:30 P.M. ( Sat-Sun) the late charge will be waived only if we received a call.

After a hard slobbery day of play, we suggest a bath. If you would like for us to bathe your dog, one of our experienced groomers will make your pooch hugging clean before you pick them up. The cost of the exit bath is $20.00.

Looking for a full service groom? Our experienced groomers can have your dog ready for pick up with a new doo. The cost depends on the size and breed of your dog, so please give us a call to discuss your grooming needs. An appointment with our groomer MUST be made at least 24 hours in advance for full service grooming.

We reserve the right to turn away any dog deemed aggressive toward people or another dog.

Cost for daycare:

Day Rates: $20.00 per dog/$15.00 for each addition dog from the same family. Half day is only $10.00 (4hours)

Pre-paid Bark-O-Lounger packages are: 10 pack-$180.00/each sibling is $145.00 additional. 20 pack- $350.00/each sibling $280.00. Please inquire for monthly rates.

If you do not pick your dog up by 7:00 P.M (M-F) or by 5:00 P.M. Sat-Sun, a $15.00 late fee is assessed.

If your dog is not picked up by 7:30 P.M. (M-F) or 5:30 P.M. (Sat-Sun), your dog will have to sleep over and you will be charged an additional $35.00.

Would you like your dog to have extra walks during the day?
One of our trained staff will gladly walk your dog for 20 mins. The cost for this service is $10.00 per walk.
